Ned Bohman (he/him)

Ned Bohman (he/him) Ned Bohman has been studying birds in the Great Basin since 2015. He currently works as the Outreach and Education Coordinator for Great Basin Bird Observatory and serves as the Secretary of the Nevada Bird Records Committee. In addition to extensive land bird surveys throughout Nevada and the surrounding Great Basin, Ned is currently coordinating a Pinyon Jay Community Science project with volunteers in many western states. The Pinyon Jay is experiencing population declines for unclear reasons and is under review for protection under the Federal Endangered Species Act. GBBO’s Community Science Program allows anyone to volunteer and submit data to help researchers and land managers better understand the dynamics of Pinyon Jay ecology and potential drivers of population declines.
