Presenter Details

Kayla Henry

Kayla Henry Kayla first started working for GBBO in 2016 on the Nevada Bird Count and is now the Project Coordinator for GBBO’s Arizona and Nevada Pinyon Jay monitoring programs. She grew up in California and earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies from California State University, Sacramento, where she worked on developing avian survey protocols for a local restoration project, focusing on birds as an indicator species to measure the project’s success. She has also worked throughout California on a variety of environmental consulting projects. Her focus at GBBO is Pinyon Jay research and conservation, including public education and outreach.
